Abrasive machine polishing compound for restoring heavily damaged gelcoats and boat paint.
Has a high level of abrasion and a very good gloss.
Effectively removes dullness, deep scratches, and scuffs, such as from fenders.
Provides a good surface gloss even on dark gelcoats and painted surfaces already in the first polishing stage.
Gelcoat Heavy Cut can be used for a long time without creating dust or splatter, and without risk of overheating. Very easy to wipe off. Free of silicone oils.
Application Areas
Heavily damaged, dull, and stressed gelcoats and paints in the marine industry.
Usage Recommendations
Can be used with rotary and dual-action polishing machines.
Apply 5 pea-sized drops to an appropriate polishing pad (Heavy Cut Pad, Lambswool Pad short or Twisted Wool Pad) and work in crosswise motions.
Spread the product evenly on the surface at low speed.
Then polish with a rotary machine up to max. 1000 rpm (dual-action – at the highest setting).
Wipe off excess product with the Polish & Sealing Towel.
On dark surfaces, polish marks can be removed using Gelcoat Micro Cut.
After polishing, it is recommended to finish with Gelcoat Finish, Marine Protective Sealant, or Ceramic Boat Hull to seal surface pores.
Shake well before use. Check material compatibility.
Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat.
May cause an allergic skin reaction.
If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid inhaling vapors or mist. Use protective gloves.
In case of skin irritation, consult a doctor.
Dispose of contents/container to an appropriate waste collection point.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
Contains: 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one
